Each fitting has an
identification code. The code
also defines correct pipe size
for use with the fitting. For
example, 10-8 is type 10 fitting
for use with size 8 steel pipe.
10-87 is type 10 fitting for use
with size 8 steel pipe at one
end and a size 7 pipe at the
other end. |
